I was very sad to learn that Patricia had died earlier this year. I will never forget how unflinchingly brave she was, coming back yet another freezing cold day to stand higher up on the hill for the benefit of the TV Cameras.
She said "The hills will never forgive me if I do not fight to save them".  She had farmed on Blackcraig Hill for 25 years and loved it dearly.
