We
have a small flock of Blackface sheep, inherited from my father.
I give each sheep a name (as my father did); this makes it easy to keep track of them, know the date they're expected to lamb, etc. Each one looks different and has it's own character - some are named for physical characteristics, eg Brogach (black-faced) and Blar (large white face-marking), some for their character, eg Slow-motion, some after friends, eg Hester and Pippa. |
